Lech ski school is one of the world's most renowned ski schools, based in one of the most legendary settings for winter sports. It has been shaped by a genuine passion for winter sports and the incredible mountain landscape of the Arlberg.
Over 220 highly trained snowsport instructors personally make sure you improve your skills and are at your best on and off the pistes. In the ski school office, guests can expect perfect customer service: the staff attend to every concern and request.

Past & present.
No one can dispute that the Arlberg is the birthplace of alpine skiing. Johann Müller had ordered what were still considered “strange boards” from Scandinavia to help him get around more easily in winter. His first attempts failed miserably, but it was not long before he could travel from Warth to Lech in an hour and a half. This was the first ski tour of the Arlberg.
It did not take long for the younger generation to realise that this practical means of transport could also be an entertaining pastime. The first ski races in the Alps were held in the Arlberg in 1904. Two decades later, in 1925, Lech ski school was founded with the grand total of two instructors.
We have the duty of honouring this heritage. Every day we strive to keep our reputation among the best ski schools globally, with personalised encouragement, care and tutelage for every guest.

We are looking for instructors who want to work amongst the best of the best. Pass your enthusiasm on to our guests and benefit from our professional training. Instructors live in purpose-built staff housing in Dalaas with 50 single rooms, a fitness centre, a breakfast buffet and a free shuttle to Lech (about 30 minutes).
